MISSION:
The Clarke County Education Foundation is an independent public charity dedicated to promoting, expanding, and augmenting the educational opportunities for students and staff in the Clarke County Public Schools, by generating private support and involvement to enhance these publicly-maintained services.
HOW WE HELP:
1.
Student Scholarships applied for by students
(endowment income and project gifts)
2. Teacher Grants applied for by teachers
(annual Gala, endowment income, unrestricted income)
3. Program Demonstrations at the System Level applied for by the
Superintendent
(endowment income, grants from other foundations and
individuals)
4. Special Projects directed by donors
(one-time purpose-restricted special gifts from
individuals, businesses, foundations, and specialized endowments)
5. Administration for other Schools-related charities:
PTOs
Group fund-raising (choir trip, etc.)
6. Use of Fixed Assets
Lease of Feltner Building from Foundation to CCPS for
Alternative Education Program for $1 per year.
