Admission: Adults $5

Seniors $3

Students admitted free

Artists must pick up all unsold work from the Spring 2012 show on Monday, May 14 or Saturday, May 19 between 10am and 4pm.
You will be called if all your work has sold and you do not need to pick up anything.

The Call for Entries packet for the Fall 2012 show will be mailed and available from this website in July. Submissions will be due

Every spring and fall, the Burwell-Morgan Mill in the quaint village of Millwood, Virginia, becomes an extraordinary art gallery. In its 22nd year, Art at the Mill has become one of the premier art shows in the mid-Atlantic region, attracting artists and buyers from over a dozen states.

During each show, around 300 artists display over 1,000 pieces of art of all descriptions and media. Oil paintings are predominant, but other types of painting, mixed-media, sculpture, fine woodworking, and pottery round out the stunning diversity of the show. There is truly something for every taste, budget, and decor.

Art at the Mill is CCHA's primary fundraiser, providing the operating funds for both the Mill and the Museum and Archives. CCHA retains 28% of each sale; the artist 70%; and the remaining 2% goes to the Sarah P. Trumbower Memorial Scholarship fund, which was established to help a deserving local student pursue a university education in the fine arts. It is a $5,000 scholarship awarded annually.

Art at the Mill is truly a feast for the senses: people are stunned when they walk through the old door of the mill and are met with so much beautiful art housed in an amazing relic from the 18th century. After you're done shopping, we suggest you grab a delicious lunch at Locke Modern Country Store across the street and have a picnic in our meadow. Fine art, history, and food in a lovely setting make this a perfect destination for everyone.
