Vision Statement
To teach
everyone in communities
surrounding Social Graces
how to act in a musical
social environment and to
bring partnership dance
culture back into our
community and nation as a
way of life.

Mission Statement
Social Graces
consists of a team of
friendly, highly trained,
instructors who strive to
help the average person
achieve each of their unique
goals through the
understanding of how to act
in a musical social
environment.
We
are in the business of
teaching people how to
enrich their social lives.
We provide people with tools
used in social interaction
(such as understanding of
partnership dance, music and
social grace), while also
providing people with an
outlet to practice and fine
tune these skills.
Our students
will be those who wish to
enjoy some of the many
benefits that come with the
understanding of dance,
music, and social
interaction -- such as
relaxation, exercise, and
making friends. We wish to
show our competitors that
there is much more to a
dance studio than dance.
We
achieve this by our
awareness to detail. We
have staff highly trained in
dance, music as it pertains
to dance, and social
interaction. We then create
an environment that helps
the student unlock their own
potential -- we teach them
how to learn. In this way
we also learn about our
unique student and how they
need to be taught. We then
teach to their weaknesses.
A great deal of time and
energy is saved by this
method. Our students then
enjoy the act of learning,
while also enjoying the art
of knowing.
We
will strive to increase
social interaction and
bridge social gaps by
teaching the common person
in surrounding communities
how to act in a musical
social environment. We will
bring partnership dance
culture back into our
community and Nation as a
way of life.

Social
Graces is more than a dance
studio. Of course dance is
our focus—from waltz and
rumba, tango to swing, and
everything in between. But
unlike a lot of studios
where the programs are
geared toward competition as
a goal and strict contracts
are required and tight
schedules are followed, we
tailor our teaching to each
individual while
concentrating on the social
aspects of dance. Our goal?
That our students leave the
studio each day invigorated,
with a sense of
accomplishment, and most
importantly with a smile on
their face.
Have
two left feet? Rhythmically
challenged? Plagued by
paralyzing shyness? Not to
worry, everyone is welcome.
Our studio offers a sense of
community and a relaxed
atmosphere for students at
all levels, from complete
beginners literally setting
foot on the floor for the
first time, to advanced
students performing
choreographed routines. New
students are joining all the
time, so you’ll always be
surrounded by people who
know what it’s like to be in
your shoes--figuratively at
least--and at the same time
you can count on our
instructors and more
advanced students to help
you put your best foot
forward.
While
our students all share a
love of dance, each come to
us with motivations beyond
just learning to navigate
the dance floor. Often they
are keeping a promise to
themselves, whether it be to
find a fun form of exercise
that they can stick to,
develop an entertaining and
addictive form of stress
relief, broaden their social
circle, or the best reason
of all—to add more joy and
fun into their lives.
Sometimes literally taking
the first step can be the
most difficult. You may
never miss an episode of
Dancing With the Stars
and love movies like
Shall We Dance, but
can’t imagine what direction
to take so you can one day
make your way across a dance
floor with skill and
confidence. Just
understanding all the
various dances and styles
can be overwhelming. This is
where our diverse and
knowledgeable staff of
instructors comes into play.
Just give the studio a call
or drop us an email and
we’ll find the perfect fit
for you.
Not
sure if you’re ready to sign
up just yet? Feel free to
stop by the studio most any
evening and take one free
group class to see what it
is like. We are sure that
you will want to learn more
about this wonderful
exciting social sport.
